Garden Norms

A Botanic Garden is like a museum, where we can see a large collection to study and learn new things. However, we must not forget that we are observing living beings, which we must respect and care for. Therefore, we must follow certain norms.

1. Eating is forbidden in the Garden.
2. Keep to the purpose-built paths and walkways.
3. Do not run.
4. Do not shout.
5. It is strictly forbidden to break off any part of a plant.
6. You must not enter the plant beds, though monitors may do so when strictly necessary.
7. The teacher or person responsible for the group must accompany his/her pupils during the visit.
8. You can pick up anything you find lying on the paths/walkways. However, the teacher in-charge should carry it and never give it to the pupils.
9. Groups must fill in a form before entering the Garden.
